Okay so I will start by saying I love reading. It makes it so I can lose myself in world after world and always go back and get lost in it over and over. You can read a book and go into the world of science, history, demigods, and there are countless others. You can make new friends as you read about the characters in a book and connect things from your own personality or life and it makes the story more meaningful and it makes it so much more enjoyable. My dad taught me how to read. When I was younger he read so many books to me and my brother; It was always a new book and he would read to us every night until he was done, then it was another book. Some of those books he read to us turned out to be some of my favorites like A Wrinkle In Time.
Writing on the other hand is a little different for me I find it difficult to put my thoughts and feelings into my writing and make it sound alright. I love writing but I don't just want to just write. I want my writing to mean something. I want to be a able to write so every word and every sentence were put there for a reason. I try my hardest to put into words what I'm trying to say and what I'm feeling but when I go back over and re-read it I know it could be SO much better, but for some reason I cant figure out how to make it that way. I've read books or papers that the words just flow and become a story or an essay and they are so beautifully written it makes me want to be like that. I can write but not very good.
